Class GDES 3352, Identity & Symbols, at the University of Minnesota assigned a branding redesign for a restaurant of our choosing. I chose to redesign Al's Breakfast which is a 14 seat diner in Dinkytown, Minnesota. I chose to redesign this restaurant because it is really well known in the area and has been a town staple for over 50 years. While researching restaurants to potentially rebrand, I noticed Al's Breakfast's branding was looking a bit dated and could use a refresh. Some tone words that I chose to focus in include "nostalgic, homey, inviting, and reliable".
