For an assignment in my Advanced Typography class, we were instructed to design a type-based cookbook cover, back cover, spine, and two interior spreads including a narrative and recipe. I decided to do a cannabis cookbook because I think ending the stigma around the plant can be very beneficial due to the many health benefits the plant brings. I wanted to invoke a fun and playful feeling in the book which I decided to do through a fun and dynamic type with bright and bold colors.
